The recent set, Twilight of the Dragons, brought us an amazing location called Twilight Citadel. On your turn, simply pay one resource and exhaust the Twilight Citadel and you’ll receive a 1/1 Twilight Dragonkin ally token. Getting Started

You want to play the World of WarCraft TCG but you don’t know where to start. Here’s what you need to know.

The WoW TCG is like every other TCG out there, so if you’ve played Magic: the Gathering, Pokemon, Spoils, or other TCGs, there’s nothing really new or shocking to find here. Obviously there are some different mechanics that you’ll need to learn but generally it’s about using the cards you have to beat your opponent, just like in other games. Dear Timmy, Dear Johnny

While making the morning rounds on the web, I found this article over at Daily MetaGame (also be sure to check out the source article over at wizards.com). To sum up: Magic, the Gathering R&D uses three profiles to define their target player types. Nicknamed Timmy, Johnny, and Spike, they’re personas that represent their target player base. They have an interesting article on why the Spike persona is an important persona to fuel the game. I believe they target that specific group not only because the author associates with it, but also because that persona is the most despised player type. Continue reading
